Eliza’s eyes widened for the moment before taking another sip for her tea. “Well… that sounds very uncomfortable to say the least.” She was somewhat shocked, but more curious as to why Nagisa went under such ‘tests’. “Why?”

Taking the tea cup and saucer, Eliza sipped the tea, sighing softly before placing the cup down. “Delicious as always… But do tell me what has been so trivial.”
Even though evening had fallen nearly two hours before, many of the London citizens were still abound outside in the moonlight. Though it was hard to even notice the moonlight from the streetlamps that lined every street. It was a sad sight, especially to a certain Countess, whom of which, strolled along the sidewalk, passing by the others like a ghost.
It always seemed that she was a ghost within these cities. After all, when one lives on their own, hidden within the dark woods of Romania, they are hardly adaptable to city life. Ah, how she had a distaste for so much life crammed into such a small space. A Countess such as herself craved wild air and open space, but here, in the great empire’s capitol, she felt as though she had a collar around her throat, limiting her life. That phantom collar she felt, was strangling the breath out of her, and so she sought her own company within one of the few community parks of London.
One just so happened to be two blocks from where she currently stood, waiting for a carriage to pass. Something was odd about that carriage. It had the same sleek and blackened features, but the feeling she got as it passed was rather peculiar. For a moment, she glimpsed the passenger within. He was rather pale, nearly as pale as she, for the colour white could blend into her porcelain skin. His hair was trimmed short from what she could tell, and he had a dark goatee, if that is what you could call it, and was perfectly kept. For half a moment, it seemed that her ice blue gaze met with his. The light did not give enough to reveal what colour stared back at her, but she felt her throat shut tight as soon as their gaze met.
Forcing herself to swallow, she hurried along to the park, looking back only once to have noticed the carriage stopped. Silently, she hoped it did not stop for her sake as she quickened her pace to the park. It wasn’t long before her leather boots caressed the graveled pathways of the park and the scent of grass filled her nostrils. The small freedom from the city life brought ease to her worry, settling her quickened heart rate and her mind for the moment. Ah, but the moment did not last long as she felt she was being watched…

Eliza nodded, placing her hands on Nagisa’s shoulders. “It’s fine my dear. Now, I’d love to hear what adventures you’ve been on since you’ve left!”
"Well you left without a word. I had no idea where you had gone too."
